Police: Man tried to get illegal loans from Port St. Lucie bank

PORT ST. LUCIE, Fla. — A Miami man is under arrest, accused of trying to get thousands of dollars in illegal loans from a Port St. Lucie bank.

According to police, 34-year-old Jackson Clesido was using a stolen identity to get an $8,000 loan from a bank in St. Lucie West on Monday.

Police said Clesido illegally got a $16,000 loan from the same bank on a previous date, and had warrants for his arrest out of Georgia.

Clesido is now facing charges of fraud and possessing a counterfeit driver's license.
