PORT ST LUCIE, FL (WFLX) - A $10 chance at a new dream home is back. The drawing is at 5:30 p.m. on April 9.

"It'd be a nice place for me and my son to live. Ha." said YMCA dad, Mark Varnadoe, who plans on being one of the 75,000 to buy a ticket.

"For $10, I'm going to buy one ticket. For me $10 is not that much of a sacrifice - one less movie rental or one less trip to McDonald's." said Varnadoe.

One problem: We are just days away from the drawing on April 9, and the YMCA's sales are down 40 percent from last year at this time.

"Everybody needs extra help right now. " said Easter House Organizer Robin Sutherland.

All prizes will be awarded. You need not be present or tour the house to win. Winners will be notified by telephone the night of the drawing, Thursday, April 9, 2009 or by certified mail. Ceremony begins at 5:30PM.

A       There are four convenient ways to purchase your Easter House tickets:

1.    Order online at http://www.ymcaeasterhouse.org/ and click on the Buy Easter House tickets link to order thru our secure page.  You may pay for your tickets with Visa, MasterCard or American Express.  You may purchase tickets online until 12 p.m. on April 9, 2009 the day of the drawing.

2.   Order on our convenient 800# by calling 877-946-9622, 24 hours a day, seven days a week.  You may pay for your tickets with Visa, MasterCard or American Express.  You may purchase tickets thru the 800# until 12 p.m. on April 9, 2009, the day of the drawing.

3.   Order by mail:  Print and mail the entry form located at http://www.ymcaeasterhouse.org/ by clicking on the Buy Easter House tickets link.  You may also call the 877-946-9622 and request an order entry form be mailed to you for completion.

A      Online orders:  If you provided us with an e-mail address you will receive a Thank You confirmation as well as a transaction approval confirmation from your credit card company immediately.  If you did not provide us with an e-mail address, you will only receive a transaction approval confirmation from your credit card company.  Your tickets will be processed and mailed out to you within (10) business days.  If you do not receive your tickets within (10) business days, please call (877) 946-9622 to check on the status of your order.  Please remember, you are not required to have your ticket stub if you win the house as proof of entry.  We require a valid drivers license for proof of identity.

Q       What happens if I loose or misplace my ticket stubs?

A       You are not required to have your ticket stub if you win the house as proof of entry.  We require a valid drivers license for proof of identity.  If you do lose your ticket stub, please be advised we are not able to reproduce duplicate ticket stubs for your records.

Q       Do I need to be present at the drawing to win?

A       You do not need to be present to win.  We immediately call the winners of all prizes and continue to make calls until the winners are notified.  You may also check the website at http://www.ymcaeasterhouse.org/ 1 hour after the ticket drawing which is held at approximately 6pm on Thursday, April 9, 2009 to verify the winners.  You may also call the 877-946-9622 1 hour after for the winners' information.  You may also watch CBS 12 locally and check the Scripps Treasure Coast newspapers on the morning of the 10th of April for the winners' information. 

Q       How will the winners be notified?

A       We immediately call the winners of all prizes and continue to makes calls until the winners are notified.  If we are unable to notify the winners, we will mail a certified letter to the winners.  Winner must claim prize of the house no later than 5 p.m. fourteen (14) calendar days after postmark of mailed notice. If prize not claimed within such time, next drawn ticket may be awarded prize subject to claiming prize within seven (7) calendar days of mailed notice.

Q         When is the latest I can get tickets?

A       Online:  You may purchase tickets online until 12 p.m. on April 9, 2009, the day of the drawing.  Please keep in mind you will not have your ticket stubs for the drawing, but will receive them in the mail within (10) business days.
