BUTNER, NC (WFLX) - Bernie Madoff, the 71-year-old Ponzi schemer, may have missed his true calling -- boxing.
Last week, Madoff and another senior-citizen jailbird were overheard having a heated discussing over -- get this -- the stock market.
After some shouting, Madoff was shoved by his elderly opponent. Madoff then shoved back, only harder and with both hands, causing his attacker to stumble.
When the man tried to stand up straight, eyewitnesses say, Madoff hovered over him red-faced and glaring. The stunned attacker went chicken and ran off allowing Madoff to claim victory.
Madoff, however, made up with his attacker as the two were spotted together hanging out. Good thing since Madoff will be sitting in that federal prison in Butner, NC for awhile. He was sentenced to serve 150 years for making off with his victims' life savings.
