Now an update to a case of animal abuse that happened last month at a luxury hotel in Palm Beach.

You may remember that security cameras captured the startling video of a man abusing two German Shepherd puppies at the Four Seasons Hotel.

A judge has just awarded custody of the two dogs to Palm Beach County Animal Care and Control.

Palm Beach Police say the puppies were thrown against a hotel room door, kicked, dragged through the lobby, and the owner even stomped on one puppy's leg.

"You simply cannot do what was done to these dogs. Even if you are angry, even if you're frustrated, you can't do these type things," said Dianne Sauve, head of Palm Beach County Animal Care and Control.

The owner of the puppies, Nicolaie Blaga, 51,  of Chicago, was charged with felony cruelty to animals. Animal Care and Control says they already have a list of people who would like to adopt the puppies.

Sauve says Blaga was a guest at the Four Seasons and apparently grew angry when he learned that the hotel did not allow dogs, and he took his anger out on the animals.
