Mike Trim

After his Navy service, Mike graduated from Temple University with a broadcast journalism degree. He reported for two years at WBNG-TV in the upstate New York city of Binghamton. His flood coverage in 2006 helped contribute to the station's award by the New York Associated Press for Best Continuing News Coverage.

Shannon Cake

Shannon Cake's work has changed policies in guardrail protection along Florida's busiest roadways, pushed local legislation that has influenced restaurant cleanliness, and exposed government waste when it comes to Medicare spending.

Ashleigh Walters

Ashleigh grew up in California and Colorado.  She has spent years volunteering with many non-profit organizations, including DotGreen and the Junior League of Denver.  She loves to travel, paint, take photographs, read and play at the beach.

Michael Williams

Miachel is an eight-time Emmy award winner as well as a recipient of the prestigious duPont-Columbia Award for reporting he did in Haiti. In addition, Michael has been honored with the Silver Circle award from the Suncoast Chapter of NATAS (the Emmy organization) for more than 25 years of outstanding work in South Florida broadcasting.

Felicia Combs

Felicia couldn't be more excited to be near home again. She spent most of her young life in Central Florida and went to college at the University of Central Florida. While in college Felicia interned at WFTV and WOFL, the Orlando ABC and Fox affiliate

Chief Meteorologist Steve Weagle

Steve holds the CBM Seal from the AMS, the highest seal awarded to television meteorologists. He is also a full member of the American Meteorological Society.

Glenn Glazer

After graduating from the University of Maryland, Glenn moved to South Florida permanently in the early 1990’s. He then continued his, already established, broadcasting career as a DJ at several local radio stations, as well as being an editor here at WFLX.

James Wieland

James grew up in South Florida, where he developed a passion for the weather. After attending Florida State University, James had to adjust to the icy weather conditions in Clarksburg, West Virginia. There he was the Chief Meteorologist at WDTV and had to learn how to dig his car out of the snow!

Keli Ferguson, is an Emmy award-winning sports anchor for ESPN 106.3 on WPTV and FOX29 in West Palm Beach, FL.
