PORT ST LUCIE, FL (WFLX) - For the next five weeks, a movie is being shot on the Treasure Coast, and all of the stars are local kids. But they are also looking for dozens of other kids to make an appearance on the silver screen.

Brian Carrol wrote 'Natalie, Queen of Scots'. He's the director, as well. "It's about growing up on the Treasure Coast. It's about letting kids being kids - letting them get scraped up."

The movie is basically about a 9 year old's fantasy world and how she deals with the problems and pressures of growing up. But Samantha Doohand is having no problems. "My character's name is Sarah. She's the artist; she's also the comedy person of the movie. She falls down a lot and all of that."

Eric asked, "Do you relate to her?"

Samantha replied, "Yes, because I'm really clumsy, too."

Nicholas Dellaroce is the villain. His roll is more grueling. "I get hit by sand, but I can take it."

The director has high hopes for this film, but it's as low budget at as possible. The producer even asking for businesses in our area to help feed the crew. "What we are trying to do is see if some gracious folks from Port St Lucie or Stuart would give us a lunch or two."

If you do, your name will be in the credits. But more exciting, the crew still needs 35 kids to be extras. They also need a kid who has a baseball uniform.

If you want your kid to be an extra, all you have to do is e-mail the producer at nqos@lobsterback.com.

They specifically need people on Friday and Saturday. They say a picture won't hurt especially if you're trying for the baseball players' role.
