WEST PALM BEACH, FL (WFLX) - West Palm Beach is a city on the go. City leaders began the process of moving Thursday.

They say they are out of room. Therefore, they're consolidating eight different locations around town, used for city business, and putting it under one roof.

It will be called the city center, and we're told it's much bigger and more energy efficient.

Due to the move, city hall - their phones and Web sites - will shut down Friday through Monday, March 23.

Trash pick-up and emergency services are as normal, but you can't pay utility bills from Friday through Monday.

The library at Centennial Square is also moving to the city center. It will close Friday as well, but will not reopen until April 16.
