AP -- There are dozens of choices when it comes to digital camcorders -- and a range of prices.
Canon's least expensive is 600 bucks and spokesman Mitchell Klick says you'll see a big difference when comparing its picture quality to images from your analog camcorder.
Canon's digital camcorders use a mini digital video cassette.
Klick says the image quality will be cleaner than an analog image. For instance, the colors will be more vibrant and the sound will be CD-quality or better.
Canon's top of the line digital camcorder for consumers retails for about 15-hundred bucks. It's biggest selling point is you can take high quality pictures and then print the images without using a computer.
The camcorder connects directly to a Canon printer.
