WEST PALM BEACH, FL (WFLX) - Easter Sunday was shattered by what witnesses call a drive by shooting. The shooting happened in West Palm Beach along Douglas Avenue.

Two people were hurt including a 1-year-old child. Family members tell us his name is Jamire Johnson, and he was shot in the arm.

Family members tell us they had just finished their Easter dinner when a group of family members and friends went outside to play dominos. Witnesses say, a blue car started slowly driving closer and then someone inside that car started shooting.

The 1-year-old boy was struck in the arm. Another 35-year-old man was shot while diving for cover. Family members tell us they picked up the child and rushed him inside their house.

Then, when they realized how bad things were, they rushed him to St. Mary's Medical Center. Some family members were too afraid to show their faces on camera. Others say they can't believe someone would pull a drive by on Easter Sunday. "Some one needs to do something about all these guns," said the victim's aunt, Andrea Cooper. "I mean, this is ridiculous especially when it gets down to these kids. They ain't got no heart. I mean this is Easter Sunday."
