COCONUT CREEK, FL (WFLX) - It's a record-setting amount: $5 million of cold hard cash is on display right here in South Florida.

The Seminole Casino in Coconut Creek is hosting the exhibit right now, but it will also be on display at the Seminole Hard Rock Casinos in Hollywood and in Tampa next month.

Once the display is gone, the Seminole Casino in Coconut Creek has another promotion up its sleeve for May. "We're going to give away a car everyday for the month of May. In fact, last year, we gave away 32, so we're going to give away 40," said the casino's general manager, Steve Bonner."

The first-of-its kind exhibit consists of 50,000 100-dollar bills in a bullet-proof case. It's said to be the largest amount of money every publicly showcased at a casino.

By the way, to prove that it's bullet-proof, casino officials took the case into the desert and shot it up. But those bullets didn't make a dent.
