PORT ST. LUCIE, FL (WFLX) - The former teacher fired from her job for working on a topless fishing charter boat, is baring it all not for glamour and fame, but to help single mothers like herself.

Tiffany Shepard has agreed to do a Playboy spread and promises to donate at least 10 percent of her Playboy paycheck to her non-profit organization. The organization, titled Mothers in Need of Loving Friends or M.I.L.F. for short, is geared toward helping single mothers who work hard and cannot qualify for financial aide, because they make more than is required to qualify.

"I'm trying to help those who are enabling themselves by giving them cloths, furniture, monetary needs if they need it, career counseling, tutoring, a peer hotline I want to set up eventually, just to get those baby steps going to help those want to help themselves," said Shepard.

Shepard also says she chose a title with the acronym M.I.L.F. because she wanted to give a positive spin to a phrase that is sexually derogatory toward women.

Shepard also had a stalking charge dropped, after her ex-husband's fiancee filed that charge claiming the Shepard threatened her life. Phone records though indicate that the allegations were false, and the charge against Shepard was dropped.

Shepard says she is working toward a masters degree and toward a PHD. She is also engaged to be married.

No word yet on when she will appear on Playboy.
