BOYNTON BEACH, FL (WFLX) - Two young boys are back with their mother after they went missing for nearly six hours Tuesday.

Update, WED 9 AM: Boynton Beach Police arrested their uncle, 20-year-old Robson Thilus. He is charged with child neglect and is now sitting in the Palm Beach County Jail.

Kervin Thilus, 3, and Jugens Thilus, 4, have each been released to the custody of their mothers.

Kervin's father, left him in Thilus' care while he was in Haiti. He was watching the toddlers but left them home alone to drive to Lantana and pick up his paycheck.

When a family friend saw the children playing in front of the house alone he tried to find family members but got no answer so he took the children back to his house in Lake Worth.

Previously: Boynton Beach Police have set up a command post in the 2500 block of First Lane looking for two missing children.

The children reportedly left home alone around noon Tuesday. A neighbor saw them walking south along NE 1st Lane around 1:30 p.m.

Every available BBPD officer is searching for these two boys. Also, PBSO Eagle and Bloodhound also involved in search.

Officers are checking every park, school, convenience store, pools, canals. They're also doing grid and door-to-door searches.

One boy was possibly wearing a blue t-shirt and red and blue boxers, and other boy is possibly wearing tight yellow shirt and red shorts.

Reverse 911 has been implemented.
