LOXAHATCHEE, FL (WFLX) - A father releases disturbing pictures of his daughter after she is hit by a car while leaving school. This, in an effort, to make sure this doesn't happen to another child.

It happened right after school in front Seminole Ridge High School when two students crossed this crosswalk on Seminole Pratt Whitney Road. They didn't make it far before they were both hit by a white sedan. The driver was fellow student 18-year-old Nathan Grapp.

Trauma Hawk took both girls to St. Mary's Medical Center where they were both initially listed in critical condition.

Seventeen-year-old Kelsey Perisi was treated and released. Her father feeling all kinds of emotions from relief to frustration. "This is the severity of a car accident on Seminole Pratt Whitney in front of Seminole Ridge High School yesterday [Wednesday]. I hope for everyone else's sake that this is not a picture of what you're going to see of one of your child that goes to this school.

Sixteen-year-old Chelsea Barge's father, Ed Barge, has similar feelings; however, his daughter is still listed in critical condition with severe head trauma injuries.

Besides a speedy recovery for their daughters, Barge's and Perisi's only wishes are to get sidewalks put in place along with school speed zone signs and even a crossing guard if necessary.

Anything to prevent what happened to their daughters from happening to anyone else.
