JUPITER, FL (WFLX) - All lanes of I-95 are now open after Wednesday morning's deadly police chase.

Ealier, Palm Beach Sheriffs Deputies spotted a suspicious silver Corolla near the warehouses in downtown Lake Worth. The Corolla noticed the deputies following and took off. Deputies pursued and sent out a "Be On The Lookout".

The Corolla entered I-95. A deputy from Distrist 1 saw the car, ran the plate and pursued the car, as well. Turns out, the car was stolen out of West Palm Beach.

The Sheriff's Eagle Chopper was sent up. Stop sticks were put down on the highway at PGA Blvd and I-95. The Carolla continued north, clipped the back of a Jeep Wrangler and started to flip.

The stolen car was driven by a 23-year-old woman. Her passenger, a 25-year-old man, was ejected from the car and later died.

The Jeep then side-swipped a PBSO cruiser. That driver and passenger were taken to St. Mary's.

The woman driving the stolen Corolla has no life threatening injuries and is expected to survive. The Jeep driver and the deputy involved were not injured.

I-95 northbound wasl closed due to the fact that it has become a crime scene and PBSO has to take measurements and clear the scene. When they are done, the wreckers will come and remove the cars.

They expect the highway to be closed for a few hours. I-95 traffic going southbound is caused by rubber necking.
