Protestors from PETA shower on Clematis

WEST PALM BEACH, FL (WFLX) - It was a steamy and eye popping protest on Clematis Street.

During lunch-time Thursday, two protestors from PETA set up their own shower. Their shower curtain stated: "Clean your conscience. Go vegetarian".

The group points out the production of one pound of meat takes as much water as six months of showers for one person.

"They are doing what they set out to do - drawing a crowd, but its not going to change anybody's opinion. You eat meat, you eat meat. I'm not gong to quit eating meat because of two girls taking a shower in West Palm Beach. I'm still going to get my cheeseburger after a leave here," Mike Anderson said.

PETA says that the meat industry creates more greenhouse gasses than all the cars and planes in the world.
