Delray Beach, FL (WFLX)
Delray Beach could have an answer by Friday on whether it will be able to go ahead with its Fourth of July fireworks show.
You'll remember the Coast Guard was looking at stopping the city from shooting fireworks from a barge off-shore because of concerns over certain types of endangered coral and sea turtles.
Delray Beach says its barge would be only a few hundred feet from shore, and the coral reefs are much further out. The barge would not drop anchor but would be kept in place by a tug boat.
