Tractor trailer crash closes parts of I-95 overnight

Shortly after 1:00am Thursday morning a big rig carrying lumber to Miami jack-knifed, flipping over on I-95 just South of Lantana Road.

A pregnant woman driving on the interstate at the time of the crash managed to swerve away, stopping just short of hitting the overturned truck.

An amblunace took her to the hospital as a precaution. A Driver of a second car wasn't so lucky. He swerved and hit the tractor trailer. His injuries are minor.

The driver of the tractor-trailer wasn't hurt. The crash caused three lanes of I-95 southbound to be blocked overnight while troopers investigated.

All lanes were re-opened in time for the morning commute.
