BOYNTON BEACH, FL (WFLX) - The head of a Homeowners Association development in Boynton Beach raided funds, and stole about 166-thousand dollars from its residents.

47 year-old Mark Hilton was in charge of a development on Boynton Beach Boulevard, just west of I-95, called Casablanca Isles. Since January 2007, Hilton took out nine credit cards tied to HOA accounts, all of which, were unauthorized.

From trips to Disney to artwork, Police say Hilton was having a good time at the expense of residents. He payed for his five dogs to go to the vet, car insurance, vacations, he bought jewelry, expensive watches, even artwork and sculptures with the stolen money.

Once the property manager got wind of what was going on, he called the cops who investigated for nearly a year.

Mark Hilton is charged with grand theft and scheme to defraud.
