Three teens die in SUV crash

(WFLX) - Tuesday, more than one hundred and fifty people gathered on Hobe Sound Beach to remember their friends, eighteen-year-old Nicholas Coady of Stuart, eighteen-year-old Christopher Briglio of Tequesta and sixteen-year-old Connor Graver of Hobe Sound.

The three teens died in a SUV early Tuesday morning after crashing into a front end loader near US-1 on Cove Road. Even though Florida Highway Patrol says speed was a factor and alcohol may have also been a factor, Christopher Briglio's father and some of the victims' friends wonder if the construction crew was responsible.

"Should a hauler had been in the middle of the road with no lights no flag man no nothing? No! He's a good kid never hurt anybody doesn't deserve this." Said Briglio's father.

The only thing left of the crash scene is a makeshift memorial filled with teddy bears, flowers and a large card that says we will never forget you.

Again F-H-P says speeding was a factor in this accident and alcohol may have been as well, but right now they are still investigating.
