WEST PALM BEACH, FL (WFLX) - A radio DJ is caught in action toilet-papering a local home. He's targeting the mayor of West Palm Beach, but something went terribly wrong.
"It was on the concrete, the house, the roof, all over the trees," described Wild 95.5 Morning Show host Jason Pennington. He started out proud of his prank played out live on the radio Wednesday morning. "We had 36 rolls of toilet paper and got through 28 of them."
Jason didn't TP the mayor's house; however, he got her neighbor, Ian Brown. "There's a little humor to it, but I wish they'd get their facts straight and hit the right place."
"I cannot believe we got the wrong house," said Pennington. "Leave it to us to get it wrong."
While Pennington was doing this interview with us, he sent his producer and an intern to clean up the mess. And a mess it was because, right as he started to unraveling the rolls, the rain came down. More bad luck for a prank that was doomed to begin with.
But it looks like, even though they missed the mayor, she's out for revenge. "I'm hearing now from the mayor's camp that she's after us," said Pennington. "Bring it on!"
Lois Frankel did make a phone call into the newsroom. She says the Wild 95.5 crew better watch out. They may not have water Thursday!
But then adds, she's actually going on the Wild 95.5 Morning Show around 8:30 a.m. Thursday to give them a hard time!
