WEST PALM BEACH, FL (WFLX) - The Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office is conducting a death investigation after a home in the 2500 block of Nassau Road in unincorporated West Palm Beach went up in flames.

Around 6 a.m. Thursday, the Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office got a call from Pamela G. Dassdorf at that home saying her TV was on fire.

The back of the home became engulfed in flames and Dassdorf, 63, was found in the bathroom, next to a bedroom dead.

PBSO says preliminary investigation indicates that Dassdorf was overcome with smoke. At this time, the fire appears to be accidental.

PBCFR arson investigators and PBSO's EOD will be investigating.

No one else was in the home at the time of the fire.
