LONDON (WFLX) - The legacy of Britain's Princess Diana lives on -- even on this 12th anniversary of her death.

More than a decade later, royal insiders say the palace is grooming England's next princess.

Royal rumors are buzzing that Diana's son, Prince William, may be getting ready to pop the question to his girlfriend, 27-year-old Kate Middleton. This, after the couple spent a romantic holiday at an exclusive island resort.

Sources say people at the palace are teaching Kate Middleton how to 'be a princess'. She's learning things like the proper way to meet heads of state, greet guests at social events, and how to handle the paparazzi.

Royal watchers say the summer of 2010 or 2011 could be potential dates for a wedding.
