WELLINGTON, FL (WFLX) - A 3-year-old Wellington girl, suffering from Leukemia, needs a bone marrow donor. Now, her family is asking the public to help out.

Jocelyne Davis doesn't know what it's like to live a normal child life. She's been in and out of hospitals since she was 18 months old. She constantly needs blood, and, more importantly, she needs a bone marrow transplant.

On Tuesday the Kids Cancer Foundation teamed up with the Florida's Blood Centers and Whole Foods on 441 in Wellington to get the word out.

Jocelyne's father says if more people would be willing to donate bone marrow, children like his would have a better chance of finding a match and living a normal life. "They're tough. When you go in and see them, hooked up to tubes, their whole life is the hospital," said Wade Davis.

There were lines of people waiting hours to donate blood, and almost everyone signed up for the bone marrow list.
