WEST PALM BEACH, FL (WFLX)--Customers of TD Bank have the banking blues as the financial institution struggles with a computer glitch. The problems come as the bank tries to integrate their system with Commerce Bank which they acquired last year. They say there's has been an up to 24-hour delay in processing deposits.
"We're not able to draw money out of the bank, said Corey Johnson who was banking at a local branch of TD Bank today. "The tellers were not able to access accounts on of their computers to give money."
Customers have had to wait to access their cash.
"You don't know what's in your account," said Gloria Elbert who does business with the bank. "There's a lot of problems there."
The bank says the system upgrade is causing most transactions to take up to 24 hours to post.
"Maybe that's a good thing--maybe we shouldn't be spending money," said Paul Mazza who banks with TD Bank.
Tonight the bank say all Thursday's transactions have posted. Adding there could be more delays in the days ahead as they work the glitches out of the new system.
