WEST PALM BEACH, FL  (WFLX) - Have you noticed, gas prices are spiking to levels we haven't seen since the summer.

The latest report from AAA shows the average gas price in Florida has gone up 17 cents in the past week and 26 cents in the past month.

The average price for a gallon of gasoline in Florida is now $2.70.  In West Palm Beach, it's $2.78.

"I hope we've seen the end of it. But I don't know. I don't really know what to anticipate any more. It seems to come and go, up and down all the time," said Todd Hillman, a florist from Lake Worth who owns A Flower Patch, Inc.

Although, gasoline has become more expensive in recent weeks, experts don't expect prices to skyrocket as high as they did last year.
