New for home theaters: The Optoma H56 high-res projector

Undated-AP -- Consider the Optoma H-56 Digital Light Processing Projector for your home theatre.

Optoma product director A-J Abrams says the Optoma H-56 brings every detail to life, displaying clear, vivid images as large as 16-and-a-half feet on the diagonal. The projector also delivers a high contrast ratio two times greater than professional film-based movie theaters.

And the projector accepts digital video signals. The brightness, contrast, color, and aspect ratio settings are optimized for each video source at the factory. That's why you'll notice video quality that's higher than other projectors right out of the box.

The Optoma H-56 is also extremely quiet -- so you hear the movie and not the projector.

Abrams says the estimated street price of 44-hundred dollars makes the H-56 the lowest cost high-resolution home theater projector on the market.
