KISSIMMEE, Fla. (AP) - Deputies say they have recovered human remains from the wreckage of a Cessna found in a central Florida lake.
The Osceola County Sheriff's Office reports that the remains were discovered Tuesday evening in Lake Russell, about 15 miles southwest of Kissimmee. No further information was released.
The plane wreckage is believed to be that of a single-engine Cessna that disappeared Monday night after taking off from Kissimmee Airport en route to Fort Lauderdale.
Authorities haven't officially confirmed the wreckage belongs to the missing plane.
