DELTONA, FL (AP) - Deputies serving a warrant at a Deltona house stumbled up 13 venomous snakes.
Karen Parker, Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission spokeswoman, on Friday said the snakes are now in the care of a person that has the license and experience to handle them, as well as the proper caging facility.
The person who owned the snakes did not have permits to house and own them.
The majority of the snakes were rattlesnakes.
