BOYNTON BEACH, FL (WFLX) - Fifty-seven-year-old Louisanna Jardimene is hospitalized at the ICU with life-threatening injuries after being struck by a hit-and-run driver. Her body left on the street.

It happened Saturday night around 7 p.m. Jardimene was emptying items from her SUV on the 2000 block of Northeast First Way in Boynton Beach, when police, say she was struck by the right side of a blue 1999 Saturn heading southbound.

The two-door Saturn did not stop.

But Sunday morning, a Lantana police woman spotted the car in that city.

A quick run of the plates ended up coming back to two roommates who lived at that location: 23-year-old Kelly Lee and 25-year-old Megan Keenan.

After questioning, police determined Lee was behind the wheel of the car and was charged with leaving the scene of an injury crash.

Keenan, the passenger, was charged as an accessory.

Both are at the Palm Beach County jail.
