WEST PALM BEACH, FL (WFLX) - Police are searching for one man, they say, is responsible for three separate, brutal rapes against area women.

The first attacked happened in Jupiter, the second happened in West Palm Beach. And the most recent attacked happened a few weeks ago in a parking lot near Lake Worth Road and Congress Avenue.

Police said their investigation has led them to believe the latest attack was related to the first two.

In all three attacks, the women have been brutally, viciously beaten. In the first two attacks, the women were bitten to the point of being disfigured.

The first attack happened on April 9, near 2nd Street, along Old Dixie Highway, in Jupiter. The woman was walking alone at night though an industrial area along Old Dixie Highway. He approached the woman from behind and "immediately used violence to gain compliance," according to a police report. The woman described her attacker as five-foot-six or five-foot-eight.

The second attack happened between 11:30 p.m. August 7 and 12:30 a.m. on August 8. It happened near Forest Hill Boulevard and South Military Trail, in West Palm Beach. The woman was sitting on her front porch when she was attacked. That woman described her attacker as a black male, about five-foot-seven, with a muscular build, short dark hair, in his 20s or 30s, with a Spanish accent and wearing baggie blue jeans and a long sleeve, button down, black and red checkered shirt. He also stole from her two rings:  He stole her gold grandmother's ring with five birthstones in a cluster (a ruby, yellow, dark blue, light blue and pink) and a man's gold band with six or seven tiny diamond chips.

The third attack happened January 18 before 8:30 a.m. in the area of 2887 Lake Worth Road. The woman was walking to work when she was attacked. She described the man as five-foot-two, thin, a strong build, short dark hair, medium skin tone, Spanish accent, wearing a black and white horizontal striped shirt with a black collar.

Police believes this man moves between Jupiter and Lake Worth or moved from Jupiter between April and August to the Lake Worth area. He may choose victims based on isolation. He may have had injuries, scratches or bruises to the face or hands, after the attacks.

If anyone has information regarding this suspect they are urged to contact Detective Courtney Minton at 688-4145, Detective Juliana Hoyle at 688-4164 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-458-TIPS.
