Sex offender charged with exposing himself to two teens in Delray

DELRAY BEACH -- A 53-year-old man with a 30-year history of sexual offenses has been arrested again for exposing himself to teens, according to police.

William Christopher Hohsfield has been charged with two counts of lewd and lascivious exhibition.

According to a police report, two teenaged sisters were walking to Publix when a man stepped out of a blue van made to look like an ice cream truck wearing nothing but a baseball cap.

One of the girls tried to take a photo of the van with her phone, at which point the man got back in his van and drove off, according to a police report.

The girls called their parents, who chased the man down and confronted him, according to police. But the man sped away.

They did get the van's tag number and called police.

Police are asking anyone who has seen Hohsfield, or a man driving a 1991, blue Chevrolet van, made up like an ice cream truck, acting inappropriately, to call Crime Stoppers of Palm Beach County 1 (800) 458-TIPS
