WELLINGTON, FL (WFLX) - New developments in the deadly car crash near Wellington involving multi-millionaire John Goodman.

Authorities say they're trying to determine if Goodman was under the influence of drugs or alcohol when he ran a stop sign. Police did not give Goodman a breathalyzer test that night.

Instead, they drew blood at the hospital. They say the test will show not only if Goodman had alcohol in his system, but also whether he had been using drugs or prescription medications.

Police say it could be six to nine months before charges are filed.
