(WFLX) - A family, who was supposed to get a $750,000 settlement in the death of their son, may never see the money after all.

Jay Levin shot and killed 16-year-old Mark Drewes in front of his home after the teen played a prank at his front door.

Drewes' parents won a civil lawsuit against Levin, who was ordered to pay them $750,000, but, according to our partners at the Palm Beach Post, Levin just filed for bankruptcy. That means the family may never get paid.
