SAGINAW, MI (WFLX) - A 45-year-old grandmother in Michigan is accused of the unthinkable: selling her own granddaughter in exchange for drugs.

Police say Angela Blackwell took her 10-year-old grandchild to 67-year-old Johnny Griffin's home and allowed him to have sex with the girl in return for cocaine. Blackwell is behind bars, but Griffin is on the run.

Police say this isn't the first time he has harmed a child. "We think that there's more victims out there. And, as far as we know, this type of behavior could be continuing," Det. Joe Dutoi.

The girl is now with her mother, who has told police she had no idea any of this was going on.

If Griffin is caught, he faces a mandatory minimum of 25 years to life.
