Family Members of Beaten Teen Speak

DEERFIELD BEACH, FLORIDA - The mother and the aunt of a teenager beaten unconscious at school in Deerfield Beach are overwhelmed  by the outpouring of support.  People they do not even know have been working feverishly to help raise money for the famly to help cover 15 year old Jose Lou Ratley's medical bills.  She is in a  medically induced coma at Broward General Medical Center in critical condition. Two of her fellow classmates, Madison Gordon and Bruna Pavan, held a carwash last weekend at Dixie Divers and raised more than one thousand dollars to help her. They say they will be holidng anoher fund raiser soon.

Jimmy Riffle is an alligator wrestler and he was so bothered by what happened to Josie Lou Ratley that he decided he had to do something. His group, Gatorboys, will be holding a wildlife exhibit and show including alligator wrestling on April 10th at the West Broward Community Church.   He says all the net proceed will go to the family and he wants to public to know that he still needs help with food for the event.
