WEST PALM BEACH, FL (WFLX) - Authorities in South Florida say an 80-year-old man crashed his sport utility vehicle into a West Palm Beach house after exchanging gunfire with more than three people.
UPDATE, WED 10 AM: Lamar Davis crashed into a bedroom where children were sleeping early Wednesday. No one in the home was hurt.
Davis was taken to St. Mary's Medical Center and is reported to have critical injuries.
West Palm Beach police say Davis was fired upon and fired back, then lost control of his SUV.

Previously: An 80-year-old man was shot before plowing into a West Palm Beach home early Wednesday.
Police said Lamar Davis is now in critical condition at St. Mary's Medical Center. It is not clear at this time how Davis was shot.
A family of five inside the home, located at the corner of 6th Street and North Tamarind Avenue, was not injured.
Police are investigating, but said another black, sport utility vehicle appears to have been involved.
