PORT ST. LUCIE, FL (WFLX) - Police arrested 13 people allegedly involved in a drug trafficking organization.

Police seized $14,000, ammunition, radios, scales, over a pound of cocaine, 19 pounds of marijuana, four rifles, four handguns, two trucks, two cars, two golf carts and one boat.

The investigation targeted Armando Sariol Jr., and Leonardo Palensuela Jr., who operated and distributed illegal drugs in Pt. St. Lucie, Martin and Hendry Counties.

Police began investigating after a Port St. Lucie Police detective purchased 10 Oxycodone pills in the parking lot of Friendly's restaurant in St. Lucie West, infiltrated a drug trafficking organization, which lead to the purchase of large quantities of cocaine.

On July 14, Sariol Jr. sold one pound of cocaine to an undercover Port St. Lucie Detective for $10,700 at a clubhouse in Port St. Lucie.

At the completion of the transaction, Sariol Jr. was taken into custody, thus triggered numerous arrests and search warrants in Port St. Lucie, Hendry and Martin Counties.

Police have not yet released names, but did say the people will be charged with 56 felony charges and five misdemeanor charges.
