JENSON BEACH, FL (WFLX) - Move over Stefanie Woods, there's potentially a new Girl Scout cookie thief in town!
The Girl Scouts of Southeast Florida have filed a motion in Martin County small claims court to recover more than $3,000.
The organization says Alicia Nicol of Jensen Beach failed to pay the Girl Scouts for all of the cookies sold by her troops and owes the group thousands for those cookies.
Nicol, however, claims this is all just a big mix up. She says she doesn't owe a penny, and she's shocked she's being taken to court over the matter.
Back in 2008, Stefanie Woods of Wellington made national headlines for her on camera interview with our crews where she admitted she stole money from a Girl Scout in suburban Boynton Beach in 2008. She was sentenced to three years in a juvenile facility for the thief.
