STUART, FL--- The doctor who was accused of running over a scuba diver in 2009 has been found guilty. The trial continued Wednesday morning for the young diver who lost his legs following a bloody boat accident in Stuart.

Dr. Roger Nicosia was accused of ignoring dive flags when he allegedly hit the scuba diver with a boat. The victim remains angry because the doctor apparently left the scene without stopping to help.

The victim--- 26-year-old Robert Murphy Jr. from Palm Beach Gardens, was one of a group of divers in the Atlantic Ocean that day.

The doctor could face 60 days in prison and a $500 fine.
