Boca Bank Teller Who Stole Customers' Money Bonded Out of Jail

BOCA RATON, FL (WFLX) ---The bank teller arrested for allegedly stealing thousands of dollars from the J.P. Morgan Chase branch in Boca Raton was bonded out of jail Saturday.

20-year-old Israel Conley was accused of stealing about $40,000 from customers to pay his bills.

He was arrested on August 19 on over a dozen charges of fraud and larceny and bonded out of jail on August 21 for $20,000.

Conley worked for the branch for two months before he started stealing money from elderly customers, ranging from 57-years-old to 99-years-old, police said.

According to state records, Conley has no previous criminal history in Florida.
