NACA returns to convention center, thousands attend

WEST PALM BEACH, FL (WFLX) - Thousands of distressed homeowners lined up at the Palm Beach County Convention Center Friday morning in hopes of saving their homes.

The Neighborhood Assistance Corporation of America is back in town to help homeowners get loan modifications.

This is the second time this year NACA is helping by offering free same-day solutions for homeowners with unaffordable mortgages.

NACA's "Save the Dream" Tour started around 9 a.m. Friday and will continue through Tuesday at midnight.

Mayor Lois Frankel invited NACA back because she says it's a free service and people have nothing to lose.

If you decide to attend the event, organizers say don't forget to bring verication of your income, your mortgage statement, your tax bill and insurance.

It's also recommended that you arrive at the convention center early and don't forget to pack your patience.
