Riviera Beach Police Officer Fired

RIVIERA BEACH, FL (WFLX) --- Riviera Beach Police officer Nathan Gordon was served with a notice of termination on Thursday, August 26th. 

According to The Palm Beach Post, Gordon was placed on administrative leave in July pending an investigation about his relationship with drug dealers.

Gordon has the opportunity the appeal the termination. 

He will have ten calendar days to appeal the Police and Fire Service Board or five calendar days to the International Union Police Officer Association.

Gordon spent seven eyars with the Riviera Beach Police Department.
