The hold-up happened at Chase Bank on South Dixie Hwy.

Two robbers sped away on a motorcycle but crashed at Southern Boulevard and I-95. according to West Palm Beach Police. There, they carjacked a woman, driving the stolen car to Westgate Avenue and   Suwanee Drive where they ditched it.

The bank was closed for hours after the Tuesday morning hold-up, and customers were turned away.

Two men robbed the Chase bank at 7700 South Dixie and the two of them sped away on a motorcycle.

After the two bank robbers roared away on a motorcycle, they only got a couple of miles away before they crashed into a a truck at Southern Boulevard and I-95.

A woman who was panhandling nearby says she saw the whole thing.

"I was standing over here and I just happened to see this black ninja bike with two guys in black body suits as well bending over. They were going 55 maybe 60 miles an hour around this corner. And they were goin' so fast they missed it and hit a truck," said Robin Molinari.

"I was very surprised they lived. I can't believe they hit the back of the truck that fast."

She says it's incredible that they could survive an accident like that one.

Not only did the survive, but they kept going. West Palm Beach Police said they carjacked a woman.

"They went up to a woman that had just merged around here to go on 95 and they ripped her out of her car. I mean ripped her right out of the car like she was a piece of meat and took off in her car," Molinari said.

Police searched, but the two men have not been caught.
