Jupiter Police Offering $11,000 Reward for Information Leading to An Arrest

JUPITER, FL (WFLX) - The Jupiter Police Department and Palm Beach County Crime Stoppers are offering an $11,000 reward for information leading to the arrest of the suspect responsible for a Jupiter homicide.

On June 29, 2010, at approximately 3:18 a.m., the Jupiter Police Department received several calls regarding a suspicious incident and possible gunfire in the North Palm Beach Heights neighborhood.

Officers responded to 6000 Block of Allen Street and found one male and one female victim with gunshot wounds.

The male victim was later pronounced deceased; the female victim survived her injuries. The male victim was identified as John Douglas Anderson, white male, date of birth July 6, 1978.

The suspect is described as a white male with an olive complexion, dark eyes and long dark hair.

He is believed to be in his late twenties, approximately 5'10" – 5'11" tall with a medium build (185 – 190 lbs).

He may or may not still have a shaggy beard and facial hair.

At the time of the shooting he may have been wearing a dark  colored shirt with a design on the front, dark pants and a black square-topped hat.
