BOCA RATON, FL (WFLX) - It's October, and that means Halloween is right around the corner.
For Rick Newman, that means it's time to set up his annual Halloween light show for all to enjoy, and these aren't your ordinary decorations.
Newman has been putting this display together for three years now in the front yard of his house along Northwest 9th Avenue at 7th Street.
From skeletons to tombstones, Newman creates a spooky Halloween scene complete with 21 songs to go along with it.
Everything is synced in 120th of a second increments to the music. All the special effects, the lightning and the smoke machines are completely choreographed.
Newman starts preparing about a month in advance and spends a week putting it all out for his neighbors and others to enjoy.
But one thing different this year is donation boxes. If people want to, they can donate to the Make a Wish Foundation.
If you'd like to go to the Halloween show, it runs from 7-11 p.m., every night until November 2 at 699 Northwest 9th Avenue in Boca Raton. You can even listen to it from your car by tuning your radio to 107.3 FM.
