(WFLX) - A young boy in Ohio gets detention for passing gas, and his family thinks the punishment stinks.

Eleven-year-old Christian Summers says his flatulance was an accident, but the bus driver disagrees, and she wrote him up.

The boy received an hour of detention. The next time, however, it could be four or five days of detention!

His father says the whole thing is ridiculous.
