I'm Dr. David Vastola and Patrick and I, along with Petey, love to read. We're also very interested in being educated and having our children educated. Why? Because with more education come less illegitimate pregnancies, crime and drug use - all of which we have to treat. So education has a high priority and that raises the topic of school vouchers. Do they really work? If they do, it could help our medical expenses. Let's take a closer look.
A recent Harvard report of 1,300 students over a ten year period of time looked at that very question: do vouchers work? Doctors Peterson and Howe in their 38 page report said it significantly improved the scores of African Americans who were given the vouchers. This is also consistent with a study by Dr. Ross at Princeton University which said the same thing. It seems as though Catholic Schools educate the kids better.
So when it comes to vouchers it definitely seems to improve the education performance of our kids which means less medical expenses. So for us, if you have that opportunity and have a failing school go for the voucher. It will help our medical problems and expenses.
