MARTIN COUNTY, FL (WFLX) - A heated argument over French fries lands one man behind bars in Martin County.
Thirty-two-year-old Fernando Cruz is accused of attacking his wife with a baseball bat after she allegedly ate all of his fries.
Police say Cruz hit his 51-year-old wife on her foot and threw stuff around their trailer during the argument.
When police arrived, they say, he was highly intoxicated. But his wife decided not to press charges.
