Rochelle has been telling and writing stories since she was 8 years old. Though none of them broadcast it was a sign of things to come. Rochelle comes to NewsChannel 5 from KREM 2 News in Spokane, Washington where she reported on record breaking snowstorms and devastating wildfires. Rochelle says the highlight of her career so far is when she was privileged to interview First Lady Michelle Obama one-on-one. Before Spokane, Rochelle reported in Lawton, OK at KSWO-TV. She began her career in what she calls her 2nd hometown, Lexington, KY, where she was an Editor at LEX18 News.
Rochelle is a member of the National Association of Black Journalist and Society of Professional Journalists. She graduated from Western Kentucky University 2004 and studied abroad in the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Poland, Austria, Hungary and Russia. Rochelle is excited to call the Palm Beaches her home.
