Bank robber fails to hide identity

WEST PALM BEACH, FL (WFLX) - Police say a Bank of America branch at Sixth and Flagler was robbed late Tuesday morning.

Investigators say the same guy was in the same bank the day before, and he made no attempt to cover his identity. He was not wearing a mask, glasses or even a hat.

The robbery happened just after 10 a.m. Tuesday. The suspect, described as a middle-aged man wearing beige pants and a black jacket, handed the teller a note demanding money. He indicated he had a gun and fled the bank on foot after the teller put money in an envelope.

There were several customers in the bank at the time, but no one knew a robbery was happening, police said. The branch is at 625 Flagler.
